ISA Powerboat Racing Championship

Round I for all classes took place at Derryadd, Lisnaskea Co. Fermanagh on Sunday last May 16th

It started on Saturday evening doing the Dunk Test for some new drivers, in the rain.

On Sunday there were the usual thrills and spills, from the roar of the F2'S to the splash and hoola hoops of the P750's

However the most excitement came from the F4 new driver John McGee-East Coast Club-who barrel rolled on the far corner.

Fortunately John used his experience of the Dunk Test the evening before and was out from under his boat in moments,

to be greeted by the Lisnaskea Search and Rescue divers who took him from the water, smiling but wet and cold.

Emma Morrow from North East Powerboat & Racing Club enjoyed her first race in her T850 monohull. Well done Emma!
