Clubmember, F4 and F1 Pilot
Will always had a passion for boats and bought a small speed boat in the late 1970’s. He enjoyed skiing and the feel of speed on water. He then got involved in runabout racing with his ski boat and got hooked on the racing bug.
He bought a racing monohull in 1982. With this boat he competed both nationally and internationally with great success.
He then moved To Formula 4 Catemarans which have taken him to great heights internationally. Will not only has raced boats competatively over the years, he has also encouraged many new drivers and has been involved in bringing new people into powerboat racing in Ireland.
One of the highlights of Will’s career was when he raced an F1 in the leg of the Formula One World Championship which took place in Waterford in 2002 |
